Welcome to the 1^st ICGEE 2022

It is an honor to welcome you to the 1^st International Conference on Geoscience Environment and Education (1^st ICGEE) 2022. The conference will be held by online/virtual.

Geography plays a significant role that studies the similarities and differences of geosphere phenomena from territoriality and environment perspective in a spatial context. One fact that our planet has been experiencing various consequences of excessive use of natural resources which affect the environment. Due to this reason, the Department of Geography, Universitas Negeri Makassar, initiates the 1^st International Conference on Geoscience Environment and Education (1^st ICGEE) 2022. The theme in this conference is “Application of Geography Study for Environmental Sustainability”. This International seminar provide an excellent forum to share knowledge, research findings and experience that are related to Geoscience Environment and Education in order to find the novel solution in solving various environmental issues. In this event all academics, practitioners and policymakers are welcomed to submit their paper.
