Kegiatan ini diberi tema \u201cApplication of Geography Study for Enviromental Sustainability\u201d. Pelaksanaannya secara hybrid dipusatkan di lantai 12 ruang teater Gedung FMIPA UNM serta daring menggunakan aplikasi zoom.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua panitia, Muh. Rais Abidin, S.Pd., M.Pd. menyampaikan bahwa 30 pemakalah telah mensubmit abstrak dan fullpaper, ruang lingkup intenasional conference terdiri dari Applied Physical Geography, Human Geography and Regional Development, Geography Education, Climate Change, GIS and Remote Sensing, Enviroment and Sustainable Development and Disaster Risk Management. Antusias peserta juga sangat tinggi dengan catatan 242 pendaftar.<\/p>\n<p>Hadir dalam kegiatan ini, Wakil Rektor I, Prof. Dr. Hasnawi Haris, M.Hum. Dekan FMIPA, Drs. Suwardi Annas, M.Si., Ph.D. beserta jajarannya, Ketua Jurusan Geografi, Uca, S.Si., M.S., Ph.D. bersama dosen jurusan geografi dan tamu undangan lainnya.<\/p>\n<p>Keynote speaker pertama, Prof. Ts. Dato\u2019 DR. MOHD EKHWAN HJ TORIMAN dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Kedua Michael Wollrath. Ph.D. dari Martin Luter Universitat Halle Wittenberg Germany. Ketiga Dr. Michael E. D. Chaves dari National Institute for Space Research Brazil.
